Author: Anna Pignataro
Title: Our Love Grows
Publisher: Sourcebooks Jabberwocky
Publication Date: April 5, 2016

Description:

In the deep green forest, Pip asked,
"Mama, when will I be big?"
Pip is an adorable, roly-poly little panda who sees the world changing and growing. But Pip is feeling a bit left behind. Luckily Mama is there to show playful and curious Pip that, like the trees in the forest and the stars in the sky, he's growing and changing too. And no matter how much Pip grows, the one thing that will never change is how much Mama loves him!

Review:

This was absolutely adorable and heartwarming.

The story was simple and rhymed and was about a small panda who wanted to know when he would grow bigger. His mom told him that he had already grown bigger and talked about everything that had changed and grow just like him.

She finishes by telling him that her love for him also continues to grow which was so sweet.

The story was a little short and simple but I think younger kids would enjoy it.

The illustrations reminded me of a beautiful watercolor painting and the scenes depicted were detailed and the colors soft and soothing. I think children would really enjoy the illustrations. I also felt like the setting was well portrayed through the pictures and added to my overall enjoyment of this upcoming children's release.

You will have to wait a little for this one to come out (Releases in April) but definitely pick it up!

My Star Rating:

4 out of 5
